Mursal Saiq was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, raised in Mumbai, India and then grew up in London, UK. After escaping the Taliban, Mursal made an effort to bring her food, language and dual British Afghan identity across the UK and Globe. By merging British classics and produce with the flavour profiles and aromatics of Afghanistan whilst specialising and utilising Live Fire / BBQ methodologies creating a truly unique BBQ concept and experience. She learned the art of low and slow BBQ and Live Fire during her time at London’s first and most popular BBQ restaurant. After spending her time developing her culinary knowledge, she decided to open her own space Cue Point London with her business partner Joshua Moroney. It quickly became a London then Global hit. Constantly being referred to as one of London’s topBBQrestaurants. Across the national and regional press.
